The Neuro Health Project

The Neuro Health Project is community driven and offers mental well-being support for everyone, everywhere for free. Our mission is to help at least one million people globally through our network of HUBS positioned in every suburb, town, city and country. We are not government or privately funded. We are sponsored by the Neuro Change Institute ®.

Meet Kim Gussy

Your HUB Leader

Kim Gussy, Kiwi-born. I have lived in Australia for nearly 30 years and call it home. I arrived as an uneducated young mum of three children and embarked on an educational journey that is still alive today. I have qualifications in community services, health promotion, and a Master of Public Health.

Since 2008, I have worked predominately in developing and coordinating programs that promote health education, behavior change, and well-being. During this time, I have been fortunate to work with many First Nation Australians or people and their communities and I am inspired by their hope, resilience, kindness, and strive for equality.

A Journey of Compassion and Expertise

For the past four years, I have been a trainer and assessor for vocational education training in delivering mental health and alcohol and other drugs qualifications which led to my curiosity in neurochange science with the Neuro Change Institute.

Empowering Women

I bring to the role as hub leader, my own experience in struggle street, a single mum, and a member of a family with mental health concerns along with positivity, optimism, and hope for a better future for all. It is my time to give back for the many opportunities I have had, and I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life given the right opportunities, environment to thrive, and support to succeed.

Be a Part of the Solution

In late 2022, the Mental Health Reform initiative by the World Health Organization (WHO) proposed a significant overhaul of mental health services. The recommendation is to shift towards community-based mental health care, expanding beyond the confines of the health sector. You have the opportunity to be an active participant in this transformation by joining our community-based Neuro Health Project. You can apply to become a Neuro Health Practitioner and take on a leadership role as a HUB Leader. Join us in shaping the future of mental health care.
